Job Description:
MedStar Health, a leading not-for-profit healthcare
organization, is seeking a System Sr. Director for Nursing
Leadership Development to oversee our nursing leadership programs
across the D.C.-Maryland-Virginia region. This pivotal role ensures
exceptional leadership training, advances clinical competencies,
and supports the growth of future nursing leaders. The Director
will collaborate with multiple stakeholders to enhance education
methodologies while embodying our patient-first approach in all
initiatives. Design, implement, and evaluate innovative nursing
leadership programs. Collaborate with health care professionals to
integrate clinical expertise with leadership training. Establish
metrics for program success and oversee continuous improvement
initiatives. Mentor aspiring leaders, preparing them for
progressive roles within the organization. Ensure alignment of
educational initiatives with organizational goals and regulatory
standards. Strong leadership and organizational skills Advanced
knowledge of clinical practices and nursing education Expertise in
curriculum development and adult learning principles Ability to
align multiple stakeholders around common goals Capacity to coach
and mentor others Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
