How you’ll make an impact in this role Execute scrub functions, including selection and sterile handling of instrumentation and supplies. Execute circulator functions, including monitoring, documentation, and real-time communication. Partner with surgeons to facilitate hemostasis, suturing, wound exposure, and optimal patient positioning. Oversee the preparation and sterilizations of rooms, surgical instruments, and high-tech equipment. Deliver nursing care while maintaining a focus on safety, sterility, and clinical outcomes. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Registered Nurse credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. One or more of the following required: Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
