Job Description:
MedStar Health, a leading non-profit healthcare provider in the
Tri-State area, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced
Registered Nurse for our Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory
(Interventional Radiology). This role is crucial in our commitment
to delivering top-tier patient care with empathy and expertise,
especially in cardiac care. As a part of our team, you will work in
a state-of-the-art facility using cutting-edge technology to assist
in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures that support cardiac and
vascular health. Prepare patients for catheterization, angioplasty,
and other cardiovascular procedures. Monitor patient status and
respond to emergencies during procedures. Operate and maintain
imaging equipment and other devices within the cath lab. Document
procedural data and patient outcomes in medical records.
Collaborate with cardiologists and other health professionals to
optimize patient care. Educate patients and their families on
post-procedure care and health management. Proven ability to
operate complex medical equipment Strong clinical skills in a
cardiovascular or intensive care setting Excellent communication
and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with strong observational
