Shift: 6:20 AM - 7:00 PM Experience: • 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience. • 3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months. • Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months. • BSN completion preferred Requirements: • Candidates must have a Maryland license or compact license (required for submission). • This role will require floating to multiple units • Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - MedStar Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - MedStar Health. For MD Locations – You must have compact license or MD license. -Candidate must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms. Shift & Scheduling: Weekend requirement: Every other weekend. Holiday Requirement: Will have to work 2/3 winter holidays and other future holidays during the contract. -Shift is: 0620-1900 -No on call requirements Special Requests: Scrubs not provided; Color: Navy Blue. Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. For DC locations – You must have DC license in hand, but certain units accept pending (See JD). MedStar will usually accept a later booking date if you have applied for DC licensure. 7 days maximum time off.
