Job Description:
AccentCare is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join
our hospice inpatient team. In this role, you will be integral in
providing expert care and support during daytime hours to patients
in the final stages of their lives. As part of our commitment to
excellence and compassionate care, you will help in managing
symptoms, providing emotional support, and ensuring patient
comfort. Our inpatient facility requires highly skilled nursing
professionals who are passionate about palliative care and
committed to enhancing patient well-being. Assess patient
conditions and work with healthcare teams to formulate personalized
care plans. Administer medications, treatments, and manage symptoms
ensuring patient comfort. Provide emotional and psychosocial
support to patients and their families. Document patient care
services by charting in patient and department records. Educate
families and caregivers on end-of-life care and support.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
Strong clinical skills in palliative care and symptom management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work
compassionately with patients experiencing end-of-life stages
Strong documentation and organizational skills Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN)
license in the state of employment Certified Hospice and Palliative
Nurse (CHPN) certification is preferred
