Job Description:

MedStar Georgetown University Hospital seeks a dedicated PRN Physical Therapist to join our Inpatient Adult team, bringing expert care to adult patients with a diverse range of medical conditions. This role involves evaluating patient conditions, developing treatment plans, and providing compassionate, patient-first physical therapy tailored to individual needs within a dynamic healthcare setting. Evaluate the condition of patients and establish appropriate physical therapy treatment goals. Execute individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical assessment. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Document patient progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary. Provide patient and family education on therapies and interventions. Strong knowledge of physiotherapy principles and methods for rehabilitation. Ability to operate and maintain physical therapy equipment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in documentation and patient records management. Current state license as a Physical Therapist. BLS certification required.
