working with Cynet Health to find a qualified SICU RN in
Washington, Washington DC, 20060! Job Title: Registered Nurse
Profession: Nursing Specialty: Surgical Intensive Care Unit
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours
Experience: 2 years of experience required License: Valid State
License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Every
other weekend and every other holiday are required. Candidates must
float within the facility to meet needs. Description: The position
requires a minimum of 2 years of experience. The manager prefers
candidates with 4 years of experience. First-timers are accepted
for this role. The patient ratios are 1:2. The facility provides
care for post-trauma and surgical patients. Interdisciplinary
support includes various healthcare professionals. There is a
requirement to manage multiple high acuity patient needs. Skills
required include the ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage
patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure. Experience
with various medical equipment and procedures is essential.
