including GERD, GI bleeding, colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel
disease, diverticulitis, polyps, abdominal pain, unexplained
anemia, dysphagia, and suspected malignancy. Special
Procedures/Unit Details : Diagnostic and therapeutic upper and
lower endoscopy (EGD, colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy), ERCP,
EUS, capsule endoscopy, esophageal dilation, hemostasis procedures,
biopsy/polypectomy, stent placement, and foreign body removal.
Pre-procedure care includes IV initiation, assessment, and patient
education. RNs rotate between pre-procedure and circulator
assignments (not performed on the same day). Special Equipment :
Endoscopy video towers, scopes (gastroscopes, colonoscopes,
duodenoscopes, echoendoscopes), electrosurgical units, hemostasis
devices (clips, injectors, APC), specimen retrieval devices,
infusion pumps, vital sign monitors, crash cart with airway
management supplies, and automated scope reprocessors. Tier3 Travel
Compliance SSN DOB RTO 2 years experience required for submission
Valid State License - required at time of submission 2 Supervisor
