Ideal for experienced telemetry RNs and med-surg nurses seeking travel nursing jobs in Maryland and the Baltimore area./n /n/nJob Details – Travel Nursing Job/n /n - Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,710 - $1,800/n - Location: Rosedale, MD 21237 (Baltimore-area travel nurse position)/n - Contract Length: 13 weeks/n - Start Date: May 5, 2026/n - Shift: 12-hour nights (18:30 - 07:00), 4x12-hour shifts per week (48 hours/week) — night shift telemetry RN/n - Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend/n - Holiday Requirement: Work 2 out of 3 winter holidays and other holidays during contract/n - Patient Ratio: 1:5 or 1:6/n - Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs (not provided)/n - Flu Vaccine: Required (no exemptions)/n /n/nJob Requirements – Med/Surg Telemetry RN (Travel)/n /n - Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience (Med/Surg Tele RN or Telemetry Nurse)/n - Active RN license (Maryland RN license or compact license accepted)/n - BLS and NIHSS certifications required/n - ACLS certification preferred/n - Must pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam (80% overall, 100% on lethal rhythms)/n - Cerner charting experience preferred (electronic medical record / EMR experience helpful)/n - Comfortable caring for patients undergoing gender-affirmation surgery (experience preferred, not required)/n - Ability and willingness to float to units of equal or lower acuity/n - Two supervisor references required/n - Flu vaccine required for all employees/n /n/nResponsibilities – Telemetry Nursing / Med-Surg/n /n - Provide direct patient care for adult and geriatric patients on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit (med-surg nursing, telemetry monitoring)/n - Continuously monitor and accurately interpret telemetry rhythms and cardiac monitors/n - Manage central lines, PICC lines, IV therapy, and perform phlebotomy/n - Administer blood products and support hemodialysis pre/post procedures/n - Provide care for patients with surgical drains, chest tubes, BiPAP/CPAP, and tracheostomies/n - Implement and follow isolation precautions and PPE protocols/n - Document patient care accurately and timely using Cerner (EMR documentation)/n - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV team, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response/n - Float to other units as needed to support hospital staffing/n /n/n /n Experience the welcoming Rosedale community with easy access to Baltimore, local parks, and diverse dining.
