Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This
opportunity involves serving as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
within multiple educational settings throughout the Baltimore area,
MD. The role requires providing specialized support to preschool,
elementary, and middle school students through both direct therapy
and supervision of Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).
This is a contract position located on-site at various school
locations, including community preschools, Magnolia Elementary,
Prospect Mill Elementary, and Aberdeen Middle School. Key
Responsibilities: - Deliver speech and language services to
preschool through middle school students, tailoring interventions
to individual needs. - Supervise SLPA staff and collaborate on
service delivery, ensuring compliance with best practices and
regulatory standards. - Manage caseloads effectively while
documenting progress and maintaining communication with educational
teams. - Participate in required credentialing and background
checks to meet state and district guidelines. - Provide itinerant
services to community preschool locations and on-site services at
assigned elementary and middle schools. Qualifications and
Experience: - Active Maryland Professional Licensure as a Speech
Language Pathologist. - Experience working with pediatric
populations in school-based settings preferred. - Ability to
supervise SLPA support services is required. - Familiarity with
Maryland House Bill 486 regarding district background checks and
employment history. - Strong organizational and communication
skills, with flexibility to work full-time or part-time schedules.
Schedule Details: - Positions available full-time (37.5 hours/week,
Monday through Friday) and part-time (30 hours/week, Monday through
Thursday with option for Friday). - Assignments run from early
January through late May/June, with potential extensions into
extended school year services in July. This position offers the
opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student communication
development across multiple school environments. Qualified

Compensation for this position ranges from $30.22 to $60.22.
