• Interventional Radiologist
• Start August
• Duration: 3 months
• Shifts: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM plus call coverage (weeknight evenings 5:00 PM - 8:00 AM and weekend call Friday 5:00 PM - Monday 8:00 AM)
• In-Patient/Out-Patient
• Maryland state license required.
• Cases/Procedures: Interventional radiology procedures including joint aspirations, vascular ultrasound (excluding venous and carotids), thyroid biopsy, CTA peripherals upper and lower (includes CTA abdominal aorta and iliofemoral), lumbar punctures, renal artery doppler, mesenteric doppler, liver doppler, aorta doppler, venous insufficiency, vein mapping, and dialysis graft. Patient rounds and specialty consults as requested. Remote reading of vascular and CTA studies from Fort Washington Medical Center (less than 10% of work). STAT after-hour interventional procedures discussed physician-to-physician with 15-minute telephone response time and 60-minute physical availability when medically appropriate.
