Cardiology Noninvasive physician employment in Maryland : HEADLINE: Baltimore, MD: One to two Non-Invasive cardiologists are needed to join an expanding cardiology program of a large regional healthcare system. Shared Call of 1:4 at most. There is an outpatient component, general cardiology and follow up. One Non-Invasive cardiologist will practice out of a modern medical center located on the campus of a large teaching hospital. The second Non-Invasive cardiologist will practice out of a modern office facility located within several minutes from a suburban Baltimore community hospital. LOCATION: Baltimore, Maryland The office and hospitals are located in Baltimore and/or a suburb of Baltimore, Maryland. Please see below regarding additional information about the city of Baltimore. PRACTICE OPPORTUNITY: Located in Baltimore and/or a suburb of Baltimore, Maryland, one to two Non-Invasive Cardiologists are needed to join an expanding cardiology program. This large and well-established Cardiovascular Institute is part of a stellar regional referral center. The large and well-established Cardiovascular Institute and the regional referral center are all owned and under the umbrella of a well-regarded regional health-care system. These two excellent Non-Invasive positions are due to increased patient volume, area growth and expansion. Nuclear and Echocardiography skills are a plus. Shared call will be 1:4 at most. There is an outpatient component, general cardiology and follow up. One Non-Invasive cardiologist will practice out of a modern medical center located on the campus of a large teaching hospital. The second Non-Invasive cardiologist will practice out of a modern medical office facility located within several minutes from a suburban Baltimore community hospital. The larger regional referral center has many of the characteristics of a university-owned hospital including two DaVinci Robots. With its own distinguished full-time faculty, many are nationally and internationally recognized experts in their fields, holding teaching positions at several prestigious universities. Part of a large teaching hospital, the cardiologists and cardiac surgeons of the Cardiovascular Institute offer a full range of clinical cardiology services. They include disease prevention programs, cardiac catheterization, and diagnostic, interventional, minimally invasive and surgical cardiac procedures. The Cardiac Diagnostic Centers, all located in the large teaching hospital, merges the latest in medical technology and patient comfort. Each center features five state-of-the-art catheterization labs. They are the first in greater Baltimore to offer a flat-panel, biplane X-ray machine. Their physicians and technicians can now take images of the heart at two different angles, providing crisp, clean digital images of a patient's arteries and veins. This "high-definition TV for the heart" can reduce procedure time; aid in the performance of complex procedures; and ultimately provide better, safer outcomes. They have 24 private outpatient rooms, which are equipped with cutting-edge clinical devices with room for staff and family members. Cardiologists who are completing their fellowships during 2018 and 2019 as well as cardiologists who are already in practice with work experience will all be strongly considered. FINANCIAL COMPENSATION: The two new Non-Invasive cardiologists will both be employed by the hospital that they admit to. The above hospitals are all part of and owned by a well-regarded regional health care system. They are offering a very competitive starting base salary. It will be commensurate with the cardiologist's experience. There is also a work RVU-based productivity incentive. In addition, they provide a comprehensive fringe benefits package.
