The candidate must possess strong customer service skills and a good working knowledge of an inbound customer service call center including the necessary skills to assist in hiring, training, assessing performance, leading and motivating the customer service team members. Strong organizational skills will be required in order to manage the flow of calls, faxed and emailed orders.   • Respond to customer order placements via phone, fax or email both efficiently and accurately providing our customers the high level of customer service we require from all levels of our team.
  • Exceptional oral communication skills are a must.
  • Language skills other than English, such as Spanish, would be a plus.
  • Strong communication skills with local staff regarding new policies and/or procedures.
  • Communication skills with management team regarding challenges so assistance can be provided promptly.
  • Assist the Branch/Operations Manager in hiring, training, assessing, leading and motivating up to 10+ employees.Minimum Qualifications:
    • 3+ years experience in a customer service role - wholesale distribution preferred but not required.
    • Excellent oral communication skills.
    • Must be detail oriented and able to master and complete several tasks at a time.
    • Ability to perform data entry in a computer, and extract information on orders.
    • Ability to read and interpret written information in the English language.
    • Basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of multiple digit numbers and a general understanding of operations using units of currency, weights and measurements.
    • Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines.
    • Must be able to work in a warehouse environment in temperatures ranging from 10--' to over 110--'.
    • High school diploma or equivalent. Some college work or degree preferred.
