opportunities.GENERAL PURPOSE:Responsible for managing and
supervising all areas assigned by the Store Manager, following
policies related to Customers, Associates, and merchandising.
Responsible for learning all phases of Store operations. In the
absence of the Store Manager, the Assistant Manager leads the
entire store to ensure standards and best practices are
maintained.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:General Operating Requirements:
- Lead company best practices and maximize productivity.
- Analyze store reports to evaluate expenses and
performance.
- Communicate variances to standards to the Store Manager.
- Ensure proper scheduling of Associates.
- Ensure compliance with regulations.
- Schedule and complete associate cleaning tasks.
- Accept special assignments from leadership.
- Manage payroll administration and reporting.Organizational
Development:
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, and developing
associates.
- Ensure compliance with personnel policies.
- Address associate relations issues as needed.Expense Control:
- Monitor expenditures within budget.
- Control payroll hours and adjust to business trends.Maintaining
a Safe & Secure Environment:
- Prioritize safety in all activities.
- Ensure associates understand emergency procedures.
- Maintain safety policies for all.
- Facilitate safety meetings.Customer Service:
- Treat all with respect.
- Demonstrate courtesy and professionalism.
- Implement customer service and merchandise presentation
programs.
- Supervise and coach associates in service roles.Personal and
Store Brand:
- Represent and support the company brand.
- Maintain a professional appearance and store environment.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization.Merchandise Processing and
In-Store Marketing:
- Manage merchandise recovery, sizing, and markdowns.
- Organize merchandise per guidelines.
- Manage merchandise processing efficiently.Loss Prevention:
- Train associates on loss prevention.
- Demonstrate integrity and safeguard assets.
- Lead inventory and monitor policies.Competencies:
- Manage work processes, demonstrate business acumen, plan and
prioritize, build talent, collaborate, lead by example, communicate
effectively, ensure accountability and execution.Qualifications and
Skills:
- 2+ years of retail management experience.
- Ability to supervise, motivate, and communicate
effectively.
- Handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and exercise judgment.
- Maintain high customer service standards.
- Fluent in English.
- Willing to work evenings and weekends.
- Perform basic retail math.Physical Requirements/ADA:
- Operate store equipment.
- Stand, walk, and move around extensively.
- Perform physical tasks such as bending, squatting, lifting over
25 lbs.
- Use janitorial and store equipment.Supervisory
Responsibilities:

$22.37, dependent on experience and location. Benefits include
