for an outgoing recruiting extraordinaire to play a critical role
in driving Alertus' rapid growth. The Recruiter reports to the
Senior Recruiter and will be key to bringing our mission to life.
In this role, you will be responsible for recruiting top-tier
talent from sourcing to onboarding. We want a go-getter who hires
talent for the anniversary date - not the start date. This is a
self-driven position where being adaptable, creative, and impactful
are the ingredients for success. Our ideal candidate is someone who
is unafraid to try new things in order to attract and retain the
best talent - the type of talent that can take a company to the
next level and beyond.This is a remote opportunity with occasional
travel to the office post COVID-19. Candidates must be located in
the DC/MD/VA area.A Day in the Life:Own the entire recruiting
process from sourcing and screening to hiring and
onboardingCollaborate with hiring managers to create accurate and
appealing job postings and descriptions to attract top
candidatesWork with hiring managers and candidates to facilitate
the overall interview process from start to finishCraft the ideal
candidate profile for each position in the company from Product
Development to Sales to Client Services rolesProactively identify
and recruit passive candidates by using various creative strategies
and channels Screen and interview technical and non-technical
candidates for company and skillset fit with the ultimate goal of
hiring for the anniversary date - not the hire dateAttend campus
recruiting events at DMV area colleges and universities in addition
to other local networking eventsObsess over the candidate
experience - We want all of our candidates to walk away from the
recruiting process with the desire to join the Alertus teamBe the
go-to person during the offer stage from preparing and extending an
offer to negotiation and offer acceptanceInitiate and conduct
reference, background, and education checks for candidates joining
the Alertus teamWork with Chief of Staff and other HR
representatives to help provide HR guidance on laws, best
practices, etc., surrounding the recruitment processProvide
guidance and mentorship to hiring managers and interviewers to aid
in our ability to hire top-tier talentHelp improve our existing
recruitment process through scalable changes to aid in our rapid
growthAnalyze recruiting metrics to help identify areas of
improvementBe an Alertus advocate and generate enthusiasm about the
companyRequired Skills:Flexibility and adaptability to work in a
fast-paced, ever changing environmentExpert communicator with
ability to be the driver of the recruitment processSelf motivated
and willing to do what is necessary to get the job doneCritical
thinking skills - the ability to connect the dotsAbility to provide
an excellent candidate experience Experience using various ATS
systems - Lever experience is a plus - as well as other systems to
contact and organize passive and active candidatesExperience using
Boolean search strings to unearth the best candidatesStrong
organizational skills - you're going to have to be able to stay
organized among all of the amazing candidates in various stages of
the recruitment processCollaborative mindsetAbility to facilitate
discussion, identify, and implement alternatives or different
approachesEducation and Experience:BA/BS or equivalent experience
3-5 years of experience recruiting for both technical and
