Our -Manufacturing -Client in Havre de Grace, MD -is seeking a -Human Resources Assistant. If this sounds like the right fit for you, read on and apply! - -

Pay: -$25-30/hr (depending on experience)

Shift: Monday - Friday -8am-4:30pm (with some flexibility)

What's a typical day as -Human Resources Assistant?

• 
  
• Supports the Human Resources Department, which may include recruitment and employment, personnel records, employee and/or labor relations, job evaluation, compensation management, benefits administration, organization development, and training.
  
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Records information and answers questions about employee absences and supervisory reports on employee job performance. -
  
• Performs various clerical duties (i.e. make copies, file documents). - May respond to written inquiries from the public, send out announcements of job openings or job examinations, and issue application forms.
  
• May screen job applicants to obtain information such as their education and work experience; administer aptitude, personality, and interest tests; explain employment policies and refer qualified applicants to the employing official; and request references from present or past employers.
  
• May inform job applicants by telephone or letter, of their acceptance for or denial of employment. Generally reports to a Supervisor or Manager.

  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
    
  • Associate's Degree (preferred)
    
  • Experience in purchasing and/or procurement (preferred)
    
  • Proficient with computer software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, G Suite, etc.)
