We are seeking a Senior Acquisition Instructor who will play a pivotal role in educating and training professionals on acquisition processes specific to the U.S. Department of Defense and intelligence community. This position requires a deep understanding of federal acquisition regulations and defense contracting mechanisms. The ideal candidate will prepare and deliver high-quality training modules, leveraging their expertise to enhance the capabilities of defense personnel in executing complex procurement and acquisition strategies. Developing and updating curriculum and course materials based on the latest defense acquisition policies and technologies. Delivering interactive and engaging training sessions in-person and via digital platforms to diverse audiences. Conducting assessments and updating training methodologies to ensure maximum effectiveness and compliance with federal standards. Collaborating with industry experts to incorporate real-world insights into training sessions. Maintaining expertise in Defense Acquisition University (DAU) certifications and other federal procurement guidelines. Strong understanding of the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Effective teaching and public speaking skills Capability to design and implement effective training materials and assessments Proficient in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning technologies Knowledge of current trends in defense procurement and contracting Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Certification Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM) or similar credentials
