Type of Requisition:PipelineClearance Level Must Currently Possess:NoneClearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain:NoneSuitability:No Suitability RequiredPublic Trust/Other Required:Job Family:Software EngineeringJob Description:Designs, develops, evaluates, plans and tests engineering specifications for software programs and applications in the AWS Cloud EnvironmentGDIT is seeking an experienced ETL Developer to work in a dynamic agile team environment. The desired candidate will be results oriented and able to create and maintain ETL in the AWS Cloud at CMS.Specific tasks will include:Develops and applies moderately advanced methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex and advanced software applications and problems.

Develops complex documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.

Exercise independent judgement in the preparation and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.

Performs advance modeling, simulation and analysis. Designs and develops basic compilers, assemblers, utility programs and operating systems with extensive independent judgement.

Using advanced knowledge, develops software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.

Develops documentation for new or existing programs.

Applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.

May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced analysts.

May serve as a mentor to less experienced analysts.

May serve as team or task lead. (Not a people manager)REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

  • BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 8+ years of experience
  • Experience in leading a business analysts team in complex environment
  • Experience soliciting and defining business and system requirements
  • Experience with IDR Support projectDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Experience with the Agile framework
    • Experience with databases and data warehouses
    • Experience with Teradata and Snowflake
    • Experience with AWS Cloud computing
    • Experience with Databricks and Informatica DEI
