Through our vast knowledge and resource base, we keep our clients educated and well informed with the ever-changing healthcare regulations and marketplace.Responsibilities The Benefits Technology Specialist is responsible for the management of the internal HR Technology system (Employee Navigator) offered to clients, as well as projects related to other HR technology platforms. The Benefits Technology Specialist will work closely with the internal Administration Team, Account Management Teams, Account Executive Teams, and the VP, HR & Benefits Technology Consulting to identify technological needs for clients and oversee the successful implementation of identified client systems. As the lead Project Manager, the Benefits Technology Specialist will also be heavily involved with client demos, HR training, ACA reporting, carrier and vendor integrations, and internal client services. This role also requires regular communication and collaboration with other Alera partners and the Alera Centers of Excellence locations.

Assist SIG Account Managers and Executives with identifying clients' HR technology needs. As the lead Project Manager of the current HR technology implementation team, work with HR directors and Chief Financial Officer (CFOs) to build and maintain their online system.Demo the system and participate in prospect meetings.Act as the Lead Project Manager to ensure a successful implementation and client satisfaction.Create the Electronic Data Interface (EDI) feeds between various clients and health benefit carriers as well as payroll vendors.Implement all data analysis and integration requested by clients as well as to conduct the year-end Affordable Care Act (ACA) reporting for clients.Educate HR Directors and users on the functionalities of the system and feeds.Educate internal staff on the value of HR technology and assist with prospect sales initiatives.Build and maintain relationships with carriers and vendors to enhance the benefits and the employee enrollment experience.Work with the Administration Manager to enhance internal and external processes.Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a related field with a master's degree preferred.5 or more years of applicable work experience in insurance benefit administration with a carrier, broker, consulting firm, or HR technology firm.At least 3 years in a Project Management role.Be able to attend client meetings in person.Must be able to travel locally 25% of the time.Must be comfortable with public speaking.Equal Opportunity Employment We're an equal opportunity employer.
