IT@JH Client Technology Solutions (CTS) is seeking a LAN
Administrator who is responsible for organizing, scheduling,
imaging, and executing workstation deployments for the East
Baltimore-based Oncology department. The candidate will also ensure
the system has all the necessary software, hardware, any physical
setup to function as needed. This support will be at East Baltimore
and potentially some satellite clinics and also will most likely
assist in other departments located on the East Baltimore campus as
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- Performs routine PC set up.
- Installs peripheral equipment and software.
- Provides support for software products and services, deployment
of service packs, hot fixes, system updates, and testing changes to
- Assists with departmental specific applications and interaction
with vendor application installations.
- Acts as a strong liaison with customers and departments.
Specific Devices, Software, Projects
- There is about a 90% Windows operating system with the other
10% OSX mix.
- Fluent in imaging, supporting, installing software, and
configuring both operating systems. These systems are used in
office space as well as critical clinical areas.
- Organizes large-scale deployments in a manor to minimize
- Needs to have a good level of understanding of the various
specialty apps in order to properly configure them specifically to

- There are approximately 1,700 workstations in various locations
with most of the computers being located on the East Baltimore
campus in the 550 building, Weinberg, Cancer Research Buildings,
- Coordinates with various teams to ensure the proper
functionality of the systems as well as proper documentation. These
include ServiceNow, Epic, VPSX/VSPA, Windows Print server team,

Starting Salary Range: $23.30-$32.00 HRLY (Commensurate with
