Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Software Assurance Evaluation Engineer to join our team in Hanover, MD . The position is part of a team that provides software development support for an organization that is tasked with dissemination of data to various customers within the Intelligence Community.

Responsible for working with a team to analyze source code using automated Software Assurance (SwA) tools.

Contributes to developing testing methodologies, formulates testing scores and creates test cases that support SwA tool analysis.

Supports testing of client software and interfaces with clients to define recommended remediation.

Using and tuning source code analysis tools, evaluating the strengths and weaknesses and determining the suitability for a given software/customer environment.

Designing and testing source code SwA analysis processes.

Interpreting, prioritizing and using source code SwA tools results to remediate potential vulnerabilities in software.

Experience in programming in Python or other scripting language

Performing statistical analysis and reporting on multiple variables in a SwA environment.

Written communication skills in writing technical reports.

Surveying industry to identify new source code SwA tools and methodologies.

Bachelor's Degree in software engineering, computer science or electrical engineering and 12 years' experience in systems security engineering, software vulnerability assessment. Or (8 with a Master's Degree in software engineering, computer science or electrical engineering)

Five (5) years of experience using and tuning source code analysis tools, evaluating the strengths their strengths on weaknesses.

Three (3) years of experience designing and testing SwA Analysis Processes.

Three (3) years of experience interpreting, prioritizing, and using source code SwA Tools results to remediate potential vulnerabilities in software.

Three (3) years of experience in Python programming (or some other scripting language)

Five (5) years of experience preparing and presenting briefings and written reports on software assurance issues.

Two (2) years of experience performing statistical analysis.

Minimum of five (5) years of experience programming in Java, C, C++, or C#.
