customers.The Systems Administrator is responsible for ensuring all
server tasks are completed efficiently.Responsibilities
- Manage a Windows Active Directory environment and associated
applications, including Microsoft Exchange, SQL Server, SharePoint,
Maximo, and Configuration Management.
- Build, manage, and upgrade network servers, including Windows
2019/2022 servers.
- Support specialized software for Navy, Marine Corps, and
command functions.
- Use ticketing systems to track activities.
- Anticipate and address problems and opportunities
effectively.
- Review program performance and interface with clients on
operational issues and metrics.
- Ensure work complies with company practices, values, and client
specifications.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting.
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies.
- Provide occasional after-hours support.
- Manage multiple projects with customer service skills and
prioritize effectively.
- Manage project scope changes, identify issues, and develop
contingency plans.
- Track project milestones and deliverables.
- Develop and implement policies to align with DoD and DoN STIGs
and regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- 4+ years relevant experience, including implementing Windows
technologies and managing enterprise Windows server
environments.
- 2+ years Microsoft Active Directory administration.
- Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II and a Microsoft Server
certification within 6 months.
- Top Secret clearance required.Knowledge, Skills, and
Abilities
- Knowledge of Windows infrastructure components, help desk
operations, hardware/software installation, and
troubleshooting.
- Strong communication and time management skills.Growth
