requires an active U.S. Government Security Clearance at the TS/SCI
level with required polygraph . We are seeking a Senior GIS
Platform (Back-End) Engineer to design, build, and maintain the
geospatial infrastructure for a modern analytics platform. This
role involves managing spatial data, ensuring system reliability,
and supporting scalable GIS solutions for mission-critical
operations. Responsibilities: Design, implement and maintain
solutions to support deployment, integration, and sustainment of
GIS enterprise tools, specifically with Esri Enterprise
capabilities. Work with enthusiastic teammates to design,
integrate, field new analytic capabilities. Troubleshoot and
resolve issues of the Esri Enterprise stack to include networking,
automation pipelines, and infrastructure. Minimum Qualifications:
U.S. citizen with active TS/SCI clearance; willing to work onsite
80% or as mission needs dictate. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
experience in a technical field. 8 years of experience deploying
and maintaining software capabilities for the intelligence
community, geospatial applications, or big data analytics.
Demonstrated experience transitioning and maintaining software
solutions with the Esri Enterprise or other GIS stacks in secure
environments. Proficient in Python, R, Java, JavaScript, and Bash,
with hands-on Linux system administration and scripting experience.
Experience deploying and maintaining commercial, open-source, and
custom applications, and capable of working effectively with
geographically distributed teams. Preferred Qualifications: CompTIA
Security or comparable certification for privileged user access.
Familiarity with common industry software tools, DevSecOps
practices, and concepts including data visualization, data
management, data integration, user interfaces, and databases.
Experience with Postgres database optimization, distributed
processing (REST APIs, microservices, IaaS/PaaS),
developing/deploying web services, and working with open-source and
commercial resources in government environments. Familiarity with
hybrid cloud/on-prem architectures, including AWS, C2S, and
OpenShift. Military/intelligence analyst experience or familiarity
with IC PED systems is a plus. Pay Transparency: In support of pay

postings. The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within
the salary range provided below and is determined based on
job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience,
qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and
market conditions. Candidates with the minimum necessary
experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the
position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay
range. ? The base pay for this position within Colorado is:
$124,000.00 - $206,000.00 annually. ? The base pay for this
position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is:
$137,000.00 - $228,000.00 annually. For all other states, we use
geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven
ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may
