As an Oracle Database Administrator, you will oversee the administration and management of Oracle databases, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability of systems pivotal to federal agencies. This role requires a meticulous individual who can navigate the complexities of Oracle systems in a high-stakes environment. You will collaborate with a team dedicated to innovative solutions and maintaining data integrity for mission-critical operations. Install, configure, and maintain Oracle database systems. Ensure database performance optimization, integrity, and security. Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with industry standards. Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions. Work closely with other IT professionals to integrate database technologies with business applications. Monitor database performance and make adjustments as necessary to handle additional data or users. Proficiency in Oracle database administration Experience with SQL and PL/SQL Knowledge of database security practices Familiarity with Oracle RAC, Oracle Data Guard, and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) Ability to write and troubleshoot SQL code and design (stored procs, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints) Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) Oracle Certified Master (OCM) is preferred
