Information System Security Assessor The Opportunity: Cyber
threats are everywhere, and the constantly evolving nature of these
threats can make understanding them seem overwhelming to government
agencies. In all of this “cyber noise,” how can these organizations
understand their risks and how to mitigate them? The answer is an
information security risk spe cia list like you who will break down
complex threats into manageable plans of action. As an Information
System Security Assessor on our team, you’ll use your experience to
work with national security and intelligence community clients to
discover their cyber risks, understand policies , and develop
mitigation plans. You’ll review technical and environmental details
to assess the entire threat landscape. Then, you’ll guide your
client through a plan of action with presentations, white papers,
and milestones. You’ll work with your client to translate security
concepts, directives, and controls into action so they can make the
best decisions to secure their mission-critical systems. This is

Have: 6 years of experience with cybersecurity Experience as an
ISSO, ISSE, or ISSM Knowledge of performing assessment and
authorization activities for Intelligence Community customers in
accordance with ICD 503 requirements TS/SCI clearance with a
polygraph HS diploma or GED Nice If You Have: Experience with ICD
503, CNSS, and NIST requirements, processes, and controls and
control implementation Experience with cyber defense and
vulnerability assessment tools Experience with operating systems,
platforms, and technologies, including Windows, Linux, cloud,
virtualization, or wireless Knowledge of customer IT systems,
requirements, and processes for information assurance, assessment,
and authorization activities Ability to work independently and as
part of a team Possession of excellent verbal and written
communication skills Bachelor's degree Advanced Cybersecurity
Certifications, including Security, GSEC, or CISSP Certification
Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security
investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for
access to classified information ; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

is determined by various factors, including but not limited to
location, the individual’s particular combination of education,
knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as
contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to
$225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the
typical salary range for this position and is just one component of
Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting
