Program Staffing Specialist to join our Program Management Office
(PMO) team on a large prime IT contract supporting a key government
customer, aligned with BAE Systems’ A3 strategy – a bold,
forward-looking approach built on the transformative power of
Automation, Artificial Intelligence, and Autonomy. As a key member
of our team, you will play a critical role in driving our mission
success by ensuring seamless subcontractor staffing and partnership
management, while leveraging innovative solutions and technologies,
including AI and automation, to enhance our processes and drive
efficiency. Operating at the intersection of technology and
national security, this position offers a high degree of autonomy
and career growth. The ideal candidate will immerse themselves in
the program's management and strategy, with the expectation that
they will grow into emerging leadership roles. The primary work
location for this position is Sterling, VA with flexible work hours
and occasional work from home opportunities. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractor
partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to
align with our business strategy Manage all subcontractor candidate
submissions, prescreen resumes, and coordinate with companies and
hiring managers to gather necessary documentation and information,
utilizing AI-powered tools to streamline and automate tasks where
possible Review and evaluate technical resumes to ensure
qualifications and experience align with customer requirements
Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to enhance
subcontractor staffing and partnership management processes, and
develop and implement innovative solutions to drive efficiency and
effectiveness Design and optimize prompts for AI models to improve
the accuracy and efficiency of candidate screening, resume review,
and other staffing-related tasks Analyze data and provide insights
to inform subcontractor staffing and partnership management
decisions, utilizing data analytics and visualization tools to
identify trends and opportunities for improvement Collaborate with
cross-functional teams to develop and implement automated tools and
solutions to support subcontractor staffing and partnership
management, such as chatbots, workflow automation, and AI-powered
candidate screening Other duties as assigned Additional
Qualifications/Responsibilities Required Education, Experience, &
Skills Bachelor's degree Minimum 6 years of relevant work
experience, or 4 years with a Master's degree Strong business
development and communication skills Ability to comprehend
technical job requirements and accurately match candidate resumes
with relevant experience and skills Experience with subcontractor
management and recruitment Excellent project management and
organizational skills Strong attention to detail and ability to
multi-task Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint,
Word) Experience with data analysis, insights, and visualization
tools (e.g., Power BI) Familiarity with AI, automation
technologies, and prompt engineering principles Preferred
Education, Experience, & Skills Experience in a PMO or project
management environment Certification in project management (e.g.,
PMP, Agile, etc.) Experience in industrial security protocols
Familiarity with subcontracting regulations and policies in the
defense or aerospace industry Experience with AI and automation
technologies, such as machine learning, natural language
processing, and workflow automation Data Analytics Certification
Experience with prompt engineering tools and techniques, such as
natural language processing and machine learning Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $101398 - $172377 Please note: This range
is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries
are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited
to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal
equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills,
education, and experience.
