Leidos is seeking a Junior Software Developer to be part of the
mission solution and help lead SSA’s Digital Modernization
Strategy. Join one of our high performing teams responsible for

Perform technical tasks as assigned, including software
development, technical analysis/research, debugging/testing, etc.
Attend team meetings and agile ceremonies and participate in the
software engineering lifecycle Analyze and improve code and
participate in code peer review process to ensure the highest
degree of software quality Communicate clearly and effectively with
Leidos team members as well as SSA leaders in all team
meetings/discussions All other duties as assigned or directed
FOUNDATION FOR SUCCESS ( Basic Qualifications ) Bachelor’s degree
in computer science or related field 0-2 years of experience Basic
knowledge in foundational technologies such as HTML, CSS, and
JavaScript Proficiency in one or more languages (ie Java, Python,
C#) Understanding of Angular, .NET Web API, React, or Node.js
Understanding of Git, GitHub, Docker and RESTful APIs Must be able
to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. Contract requirement.
Selected candidate must be willing to work on-site in Woodlawn, MD
5 days a week. FACTORS TO HELP YOU SHINE ( Required Skills ) These
skills will help you succeed in this position: Ability to leverage
AI tools Experience with SQL/databases. Strong communication,
problem-solving, and writing skills Passion and drive to learn new
technologies quickly HOW TO STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD (Desired
Skills) Showcase your knowledge of modern development through the
following experience or skills: Basic understanding of modern
software development tools (e.g. CI/CD) including Bitbucket,
Jenkins, VersionOne/Agility, Jira, Confluence, etc. Familiarity
with LLMs, AI API integration and debugging AI-generated code
Experience with Apache POI, iText, PDFBox, and other similar

Range $57,850.00 - $104,575.00 The Leidos pay range for this job
level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of
compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending
an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the
job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as
well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable
bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
