Leidos is seeking a Junior Software Developer to be part of the mission solution and help lead SSA’s Digital Modernization Strategy. Find your “Why” with us and take your place in our Leidos Family Perform technical tasks as assigned, including software development, technical analysis/research, debugging/testing, etc. Attend team meetings and agile ceremonies and participate in the software engineering lifecycle Analyze and improve code and participate in code peer review process to ensure the highest degree of software quality Communicate clearly and effectively with Leidos team members as well as SSA leaders in all team meetings/discussions All other duties as assigned or directed FOUNDATION FOR SUCCESS ( Basic Qualifications ) Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field 0-2 years of experience Basic knowledge in foundational technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Proficiency in one or more languages (ie Java, Python, C#) Understanding of Angular, .NET Web API, React, or Node.js Understanding of Git, GitHub, Docker and RESTful APIs Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. Contract requirement. Selected candidate must be willing to work on-site in Woodlawn, MD 5 days a week. Pay Range: Pay Range $57,850.00 - $104,575.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
