Perspecta is an AA/EEO Employer - Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled and other protected categories Responsibilities This position provides Software Engineering and web development support to the NCTOC Technology Integration Team in support of Cyber operations. The work on this task includes designing, creating, testing and maintaining web sites and content that enrich and optimize the exchange of information and produce effective communications between NCTOC and its customers. The Software Engineer will also be required to interact with leadership to gather and define requirements. The Software Engineer will then analyze requirements and, unless mandated, determine the most effective web technologies to satisfy their needs. The Software Engineer coordinates creation and collection of necessary technology components and integrate them into a coherent site design. The Software Engineer will design and develop visually-pleasing, content rich, user-friendly interfaces with intuitive navigation. The Software Engineer will deliver comprehensive web site solutions to satisfy customer requirements and will troubleshoot software problems and provide solutions to overcome those problems. The Software Engineer will also be required to maintain configuration management. Qualifications Individual Capabilities Required: Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required and 7 years work experience. Four (4) years of additional experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree Four (4) years' experience as a web developer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Experience coding websites using HTML, Visual Basic, or other web-based programming languages. Current & active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance Individual Capabilities Desired: Use a variety of internet technologies, techniques and tools such as graphics software applications and object-oriented languages (e.g. Java, CGI, Visual Basic, HTML, XML) to create web page elements. Write and maintain website technical documentation to assist with website maintenance and upgrades. Ability to provide part-time support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of audiovisual systems. Options
