• $1000 sign on bonusJob DetailsJob Details:We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Personal Injury Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to work on a broad range of personal injury cases. You'll be working alongside seasoned attorneys, providing critical support and aiding in the successful resolution of legal matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law, excellent legal writing skills, and a proven track record of drafting accurate legal documents. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.Responsibilities:As a Personal Injury Paralegal, you will play an integral role in our legal team. Your responsibilities will include:Summarizing medical records/creating medical chronologies.
  • Keeping files organized by monitoring case calendars; documenting actions, and inputting information into case management software (Needles).
  • Extensive client contact to communicate case progression and status updates in a professional manner.
  • Case development through filing claims, maintaining contact with adjusters, medical providers, other attorneys.
  • Obtaining medical records and bills from providers as necessary.
  • Verifying all outstanding balances to prepare file for settlement.
  • Disputing health insurance and short-term disability liens.
  • Ensuring PIP and/or MEDPAY is processed and exhausted.
  • Preparing demand packages for settlementQualifications:The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Personal Injury Paralegal.2. Comprehensive knowledge of personal injury law.3. Proven experience in drafting and reviewing a variety of legal documents.4. Exceptional legal writing skills.5. Proficiency in using legal research tools and databases.6. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.8. High level of professionalism and discretion when dealing with confidential information.9.
