Job Description:

As a Network Operator, you will provide technical expertise and support for AWS hosted systems and other systems.-- Duties and Responsibilities Conduct, facilitate, or assist government personnel in conduct of daily or ad-hoc network performance and incident management reviews; includes analysis of performance metrics, incident--reports and other information and development of documentation, presentation slides or other related materials Support operations of a DoD network system Establish network management best practices to--monitor, maintain, and report on performance and availability Recommend and implement--network system dashboard solutions Collect, analyze, and report on network metrics to ensure system security and integrity Provide security processes to detect anomalies Optimize system operation and resource utilization, and performs system capacity analysis and planning Assists users in accessing and using business systems Basic Qualifications: Experience and skills with Remedy ITSM, and JIRA including the establishment of accounts defining and developing reports, and creating and/or--managing incident and problem reports Experience with Juniper Routing and Switching Networking Must be familiar with Splunk,--Nagios, and other similar security and monitoring tools Experience in AWS GovCloud Networking (e.g. VPCs, security groups, network segmentation), preferably--in a DoD CC SRG IL 4+ capacity Must have--Secret clearance Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting an Agile/DevSecOps environment Linux--and Windows experience --
