Boeing Intelligence & Analytics ("BI&A"), a subsidiary of The Boeing Company, is seeking a Software --Developer to join their Prime contract / top-tier team. --ResponsibilitiesDesign and build Microservice components to automate analyst workflow in Amazon AWS environmentProduce API documentation to include diagrams, reference dependent services, along with required input and output for each endpoint.Design data models for storing data in Mongo or Elastic Search indexesWork daily with Product Owner and teammates to deliver solutions in line with product roadmapBuild UI front ends in REACT --from --Product Owner mocksDesign and develop automation workflows using GitLab CI, Docker and SALT --including unit tests, service and application deploymentEducationBachelor------s degree from an accredited four-year university in Computer Science, Math, or EngineeringRequired ExperienceExperience working in LINUX based environment --Experience as a software developer designing and implementing enterprise-scale web applications in Java using a combination of custom code and COTS solutionsJava, JDBC, XML, Web Services (REST), and database (postgres/NoSQL), indices (elasticsearch, solr, lucene)Experience working with U/X technologies such as HTML5, JQuery, JavaScript, ExtJS, REACT, Angular js, etc.Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum) using continuous integration and delivery tools with code repos in (svn or Git)Desired ExperienceExperience developing applications on a Linux infrastructure (CentOS/RedHat)Familiarity working with Atlassian Suite of toolsKnowledge and hands on experience working in a cloud environment such as Amazon Cloud (EC2, EBS, S3, RDS, VPC, Route 53, ELB, IAM, CloudFormation, etc)DevOps experience automating deployment of applications using tools such as Gitlab CI and SaltStackBI&A is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
