Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for a talented Inspector to join our team in Annapolis, MD! The Undersea System Mission Assurance team is looking a candidate with experience in evaluating a variety of purchased materials and internally manufactured components, to determine if drawing /specification requirements are met. The candidate must be able to utilize inspection equipment and procedures to determine pass/fail evaluation. It also includes ensuring the inspection equipment is properly maintained and calibrated and environmental conditions are adequate for inspection processes including lighting, cleanliness and availability of documentation and tools. MAQEA Qualifications Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1-3 years inspection experience
• The ability to read and understand drawings
• Knowledge of how to use mechanical inspection tools/equipment (calipers, micrometers, height gage, etc...)
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance ( US Citizenship required)
• Ability to work second shift as needed
  Preferred Qualifications:
  • Training in Geometric Tolerance Test (Y14.5 GMT)
  • Some experience with Coordinate Measurement Machine(CMM) and Faro Inspection Arm
  • Experience in SAP
  • Experience or certifications for Weld Inspection and Non-Destructive Testing methods
  • Experience in internal auditing in ISO environment.
