Description:Aerotek Engineering is seeking a qualified Electrical or Mechanical Drafter for an IMMEDIATE NEED to support a growing engineering firm in Baltimore. Due to winning several large projects this firm is picking up and getting busier. The drafter will work with Engineers and Project Leads who manage the teams while supporting multiple projects and gaining experience in this junior role. RESPONSIBILITIES:Coordinate project recommendations and work with clientsServe as Lead Project Engineer for work involving Electrical systemsResponsible for designing and developing electrical power and lighting systems for construction projectsProduction of computer drafter construction plans and documents, based on directions and markups given by senior designersBIM/3D coordination of systemsEffectively coordinate work with other drafters, designers, and engineersProduce 3-D Revit models and construction documents of building mechanical systemsImplement and utilize project specific model and drawing standardsCANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS1 - 2+ Years of previous Electrical or Mechanical Drafting work experience in building designProduction of Construction Documents for projects from 100,000 - 1M sqft Proficient in REVIT, AutoCAD and MS OfficeRecent experience using AutoCAD - MUSTExcellent written and verbal communication skillsApplicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employerAssociate of BS or Advanced Degree in related to design/drafting (Construction Engineering Management Technology, DesignTechnology, Computer Graphics, etc.)DESIRED CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONSMEP Design in Building DesignRevit drafting experience WHY WORK HEREM-F 8AM - 5PM Flex scheduleProfessional development and growthHands on experience in the engineering fieldSkills:Drafting, revit, Autocad, Design, electrical, mechanicalTop Skills Details:MEP Experience, Revit About Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
