Under administrative supervision, the Skilled Nursing Facility
(SNF) Site Coordinator is accountable for the coordination and
delivery of drop team support upon the identification of increased
community transmission, including infection control procedures,
provision of personal protective equipment and sample collection
among residents and staff at the SNF site. This role is accountable
for the quality of interventions delivered, the competency and
performance of clinical staff, and for coordinating with UMMS and
SNF leadership to support multidisciplinary team functioning and
effectively delivery of services by the drop team.
What You Need to Be Successful:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland, or
eligible to practice due to Compact state agreements outlined
through the MD Board of Nursing, is required.
- Three to five years of clinical experience required
