Job Summary

As an Area Manager for Vivint Retail, you will be a leader who is responsible for developing a team of SmartHome pros that cultivate a unique sales experience that is inviting and exciting for customers in their homes. It will be your team's responsibility to educate customers on the benefits of our products and then design, close and install the solution based on their needs. Through leadership, training, and guidance you will ensure that your team delivers an elite, consistent and quality customer experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive for and achieve daily, weekly and monthly install goals and KPIs
  • Recruit, hire and properly onboard (including licensing) and train new talent for your team
  • Deliver frequent coaching and performance evaluations to each of your SmartHome Pros
  • Ensure customer standards of excellence are being met with frequent ride-alongs with your team members
  • Manage the schedule to ensure customer confirmations and minimize customer appointment rescheduling
  • Conduct weekly team meetings and build team culture
  • As needed, cover high-priority customer appointments for both initial design appointment and service
  • Ensure your team has appropriate inventory levels in that all products and equipment are managed according to company policy
  • Develop product relationships between Vivint and our retail partners
  • Deliver a consistent elite and quality customer experience for sales, install and service
  • Conduct systems installations, service calls an inventory of company products and equipment
  • Maintain and set the example of an ideal professional appearance
  • Provide business updates to leadership and share best practices
  • Answer questions and resolve concerns with honesty and integrity

Requirements

  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Reliable transportation
  • Electrician or other technical experience is preferred

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School education or equivalent
  • Must submit to and pass background check
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle
  • Leadership experience of a remote workforce
  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
