Currently offering a $2,500 sign on bonus for full time, licensed
Social Worker II provides clinical care to children, adolescents,
adults, and families. This includes mental health and
medically-focused psychosocial evaluations; therapeutic
interventions; and coordination of care under supervision of a
board registered supervisor. The Social Worker II participates on
client & family centered interdisciplinary teams reflecting
strengths and needs of the client consistent with the values and
principles of the practice of social work. The Social Worker II may
be involved in training activities, outreach, and research as
members of interdisciplinary programs and the department. This
position requires flexibility in scheduling to accommodate
after-school, and some early evening appointments.

on-going learning and expansion of competency in serving diverse
patients and families is expected.
This position requires flexibility in scheduling to accommodate
after-school and some early evening appointments. Patient services
are in a hybrid of telehealth and onsite. Telehealth from home is
mental health and medically-focused psychosocial evaluations to
clients referred for social work services.
mental health treatment and medically-focused interventions to
coordination of care on behalf of clients in collaboration with KKI
interdisciplinary staff and community agencies. May attend internal
and external meetings focused on client care.
responsible for utilizing weekly supervision, interdisciplinary
consultation, independent study, and training activities to ensure
the delivery of high quality care based upon the needs of clients
served in the assigned program(s) and/or clinic(s).
timely appropriate documentation according to professional,
departmental and KKI guidelines, while maintaining billing and
serve on committees and may participate in training, outreach, and
research activities, as assigned.
in the establishment and monitoring of performance
improvement/performance evaluation standards.
degree from an accredited school of Social Work is
possess and maintain Masters Social Worker (LMSW) license, issued
by the Board of Social Work Examiners, Maryland State Department of
Health and Mental Hygiene.
take exam for advanced licensure at the LCSW-C level within six
months of obtaining sufficient client and supervision hours. Must
pass the LCSW-C exam and be eligible for promotion within three
attempts of taking the exam, and within one year of first taking
candidate must have clinical experience through internships or job
placements in the provision Social Work services, preferably for
children, adolescents and young adults with developmental, learning
and/or emotional disabilities.
