What you will do

The hardware engineer intern supports the design, test and sustain electronic Printed Circuit Board (PCBs) assemblies and components.

How you will do it:

  • Provide support to the lead electrical engineers in tasks such as part qualification, assembly design, test box design and test, engineering analysis and test, support of proof-of-concept or final system testing.
  • Perform routine tasks under close supervision using well-defined standards and procedures.
  • Support the development and documentation of standard procedures, design standardization, and engineering change notices.
  • Use predetermined methods, sequences, and setups to perform job duties.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What we look for

Required Qualification:

  • Full-time student enrolled in a four-year college or university; currently enrolled in at least junior year within an engineering curriculum.
  • Maintain a minimum of a 3.0 out of 4.0 overall grade point average.
  • Broad technical background in areas of electrical engineering, mechanical design and control system development.
  • Strong analytical, conceptual and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Ability to work and thrive in a team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Ability to self-motivate and work productively without supervision.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. full-time and without restriction during your internship at company location.
