While this position will primarily be remote, candidates must be local as in-person visits to Columbia, MD headquarters will be required on an as needed basis. Job Summary This role will be expected to lead, manage, and drive execution of approved projects through to completion, according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. Defines project objectives and oversees quality control throughout the project life cycle. Will play a key role in the overall digital transformation of MedStar Health by being a champion and leader in upskilling the org in Agile ways of working. # # Minimum Qualifications Education/Training: Bachelor#s degree in technical discipline, business administration or relevant field with preferably foundation level certification in project management. Or equivalent experience. # Experience: 4 years relevant experience in project management preferably in a digital technology/ software development role. License/Cert/Reg: No special certification, registration or licensure required. Knowledge, Skills # Abilities: # Deep expertise with formal project management methodologies, including Agile and SCRUM. Experience managing projects within common SDLC processes. Experience with project management tools, Jira/Confluence. Excellent technical problem-solving skills and ability to exercise independent judgement.# Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively interact with all levels of management, internal departments and external agencies.# Excellent time management skills with the ability to oversee multiple workstreams and simultaneous projects. # Primary Duties and Responsibilities Develops department goals, objectives, policies, and procedures. #Ensures compliance with business unit policies and procedures and governmental and accreditation regulations. Develops and recommends department operating budget and manages resources according to approved budget. Selects, trains, orients, and assigns department staff. #Develops standards of performance, evaluates performance, and conducts performance management planning. #Initiates or makes recommendations for personnel actions. #Maintains ongoing communication with subordinates to review programs, provide feedback, discuss new developments, and exchange information. Partners with Product org, Enterprise Access leadership, and Enterprise Architect to ensure delivery of products built and scaled to support value-driven use cases. Contributes to the achievement of established department goals and objectives and adheres to department policies, procedures, quality standards, and safety standards. Complies with governmental and accreditation regulations. Builds, develops, and grows internal relationships vital to the success of the project. Coordinates project post mortems and creates a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements. Coordinates the estimations of resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. Develops project plans and associated communications documents. Directs and manages project development from beginning to end. Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Effectively communicates project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. Acts as liaison with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis. Identifies and manages project dependencies and critical path. Plans and schedules project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. Tracks project milestones and deliverables. Develops and delivers progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations. Determines the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyzes results, and troubleshoots problem areas. Proactively manages changes in project scope, identifies potential crises, and devises contingency plans. Defines project success criteria and disseminates them to involved parties throughout project life cycle. Sets and continually manages project expectations with team members and other stakeholders. Delegates tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel. Identifies and resolves issues within the project team. Participates in meetings and on committees and represents the department and business unit in community outreach efforts. Participates in multidisciplinary quality and service improvement teams and maintains effective working relationships with other departments. # Performs other duties as assigned. #

  • Implements the digital strategy and manages the content across entity web and social media sites to engage,nurture and enhance relationships with internal and external audiences. Writes content and aligns website and social media strategies with broader marketing and communications strategies. Manages requests for updates to websites and social media sites. Works collaboratively and serves as a liaison between entity marketing and corporate digital teams. Proactively seeks opportunities to learn and develop new skills.

  • Minimum Qualifications
  • Education/Training
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising or Public Relations, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.

  • Experience
  • 3 years experience in marketing and communications/public relations. Experience working fora nonprofit preferred. Demonstrated experience working in website management and social media management, Google Analytics, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Google+, blogs and other social networking sites preferred.

  • License/Certification/Registration
  • No special certification, registration or license required.

  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to set priorities, make decisions, and readily adjust to change. Proficient in Microsoft Office products and Adobe Creative Suite. Strong writing,proofreading, and editing skills using AP Style.

  • Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Acknowledges patient feedback in real time to resolve online reputation management events on websites such as Yelp, Google, Facebook, Twitter and Glassdoor.

  • Collaborates with providers and entity leadership to optimize priority service lines on the websites, including gathering content and imagery.

  • Contributes to the achievement of established department goals and objectives and adheres to department policies, procedures, quality standards and safety standards. Complies with governmental and accreditation regulations.

  • Creates monthly editorial calendars for social media sites.

  • Develops content, manages requests and makes updates to functionality and content on websites and social media sites.

  • Implements social media and website strategies to engage, nurture and enhance relationships with internal and external audiences.

  • Maintains collaborative working relationships with stakeholders at the entity and corporate level and works with them to align website and social media strategies with integrated marketing and communications strategies.

  • Participates in multidisciplinary quality and service improvement teams as appropriate. Participates in meetings, serves on committees and represents the department and hospital/facility in community outreach efforts as appropriate.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Researches, develops and maintains a high-level understanding of the latest developments in SEO; applies strategies to websites and physician profiles; assists with optimization of marketing campaigns.

  • Tracks, reports and evaluates website and social media engagement; recommends improvements to enhance performance, while maintaining an understanding of the latest trends and best practices.
