Job Description:

PSI Pax, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a User Experience Specialist to support our government customer in Baltimore, MD. Duties & Responsibilities:Derive business processes, analyze user needs, assist in requirements definition, design browser-based interfaces, and design and conduct usability testing.Elicit business goals and user needs from stakeholders.Create Personas and Scenarios of Use.Create and refine screen prototypes.Document user requirements, screen designs, and design recommendations.Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical topics as well as interface with the customer on a daily basis.Required Qualifications:Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearanceMust be a US Citizen or Green Card holderMinimum of five (5) years of direct Interaction/Interface design experience in User-Centered Methods and User AnalysisMinimum of five (5) years of experience documenting user requirements, screen designs, and design recommendationsMinimum of three (3) year of experience in designing and conducting formative usability tests in both formal and informal settingsMinimum of three (3) year of experience preparing and presenting findings and recommendations in small and large group settingsMust have an understanding of responsive designPreferred Qualifications:Experience using Axure RP prototyping softwareExperience using Adobe XD prototyping softwareExperience with the Agile/Scrum methodologyUnderstanding of responsive designUnderstanding of Section 508 and its requirements regarding designPrior Federal government experienceEducation Requirements: Bachelor's degree and seven (7) years of relevant work experience, Master's degree and five (5) years of relevant work experience as a User Experience Specialist, or eleven (11) years of experience in lieu of a degree.PSI Pax, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
