Job Description:

Position SummaryOperations Specialist will be responsible for managing and supporting operational systems for the purposes of tracking client and project information, maintaining project plans and schedules, and assigning tasks and resources. The Operations Specialist will also monitor and report on projects.Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:

• Set up and maintain internal systems (Smartsheet, Confluence, JIRA, Excel) for new and existing projects with input from key cross-functional stakeholders
• Maintain and update resource plans with input from key stakeholders
• Create and maintain action / issue logs, and proactively manage completion of assigned tasks
• Monitor progress on task assignments, report on project status, and identify issues and risks
• Develop, implement, and maintain dashboards and reports
• Support reporting for resource and financial forecasts
• Provide administrative support to management and project teams as neededMinimum RequiredQualifications:
  • Bachelor's in Biology, Information Technology or related field
  • At least 1 year of project management experience in translational sciences, translational medicine, information technologyOther Required
    • Experience with project management software such as Smartsheet
    • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
    • Team player contributing to a positive, collaborative working environment
    • Must be able to read, write, speak fluently and comprehend the English languagePreferred
      • Experience with creating project plans and Gantt charts in at least one project management software tool
      • Familiarization with terminology used in immunology, molecular biology, or genetics
