us. Role SummarySenior Experience Designers at T. Rowe Price are
responsible for creating industry-leading experiences for our
clients through a deep understanding of their needs, frustrations,
and expectations. They work across the range of design methods,
from discovery research, insights, and strategy, though to
ideation, prototyping, and validation, and to the delivery of
digital product experiences.Senior Experience Designers are part of
multi-disciplinary teams, including experience researchers and
content strategists, committed to designing the optimal investor
experience. Senior Experience Designers are expected to be strong
partners with product owners and engineers, involved in
prioritization, planning, and decisions along the way to
execution.This is a hybrid role, remote first with the ability to
come into the Maryland offices periodically. Responsibilities+
Design and optimize experiences across our digital client
ecosystem+ Participate in user research to better understand user
needs and behaviors, and usability testing to see how your
solutions work for users, with the support and guidance of
experience researchers+ Advocate for the users' perspective when
collaborating with product owners and engineers to plan roadmaps,
gather requirements, and prioritize the work+ Ideate and prototype
to explore and validate different concepts.+ Diagram the
interactivity of the product, including journey maps, user flows
and wireframes+ Create detailed designs, built upon our design
system, that brings our solutions to life+ Contribute to our design
system and community+ Advocate for accessibility and inclusive
design practices+ Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
including legal and compliance, subject matter experts, and
associates.+ Support recruiting processes, reaching out to
potential candidates, taking part in interviews Qualifications+
Self-directed; in planning and structuring the effort as well as
executing at expected levels of quality.+ Demonstrated experience
with user-centered and human-centered design approaches+ Experience
working collaboratively within design teams (with other designers,
UX researchers, and content strategists) and cross-functionally
with product managers and software engineers and stakeholders+
Strong interaction design and visual/UI skills+ High degree of
technical proficiency with modern design collaboration tools such
as, Figma, FigJam, Miro, and Zoom.+ Proficiency in adjacent skills
such as information architecture, user research, UX Writing, and
prototyping+ Appreciation for how design work connects with broader
business value+ Has shipped multiple successful digital products+
Able to show how their understanding of technical constraints and
opportunities informed design solutions.+ Familiar with HTML, CSS,
and JavaScript+ Advocate for Accessibility Guidelines and Inclusive
Design practices+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience+
