Systems sector is seeking a Lead Sr. Systems Engineer to join our
team of qualified, diverse individuals located at Annapolis
Junction. Responsibilities for a Lead Sr. Systems Engineer who has
experience being a liaison with customers for the purpose of
capturing and tracking system requirements and activities. Able to
curate technical content, foster strong relationships with key
stakeholders and coordinate and develop quality responses to
customer leadership actions and requests (via documentation,
presentations, and graphics). Analyzes user's requirements, concept
of operations documents, and high level system architectures to
develop system requirements specifications. Analyzes system
requirements and leads design and development activities. Guides
users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches,
and conducts feasibility studies. Interacts with the Government
regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for
associated problems, issues or conflicts. Ultimate responsibility
for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables
associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.
Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers,
and senior executives.Basic Qualifications:
- A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph is
required.
- BS + 14 years of exp; MS + 12 years of exp: PhD + 9 years of
exp is required.
- Ability to review and support certification and accreditation
documentation within the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF),
NSA/CSS Information System Certification and Accreditation Process
(NISCAP), NIST 800-53, and CNSSI-1253.
- Experience reviewing technical security assessments of
computing environments to identify points of vulnerability, or
non-compliance
- Can recommend system-level solutions to address and resolve
security requirements.
- Familiar with supporting software development from a security
standpoint (code reviews, security compliance, secure coding
practices).
- Capable identifying overall security requirements for the
proper handling of customer data.
- Experience with security planning, assessment, risk analysis,
and risk management. Salary Range: $177,000 USD - $265,000 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to
base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual
contributions as well as allow employees to share in company
results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be
eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman
