Job Description
Brown Advisory's Information Technology group is seeking a
proactive and professional individual to serve as a Salesforce
Solution Architect. The Solution Architect is responsible for
managing, designing, and building world-class products and
experiences into Salesforce. This includes aligning technology and
business team's strategies, systems analysis, requirements
definition, systems integration, testing, and support of new and
existing Salesforce capabilities in alignment with key business
objectives.
As the Salesforce Solution Architect your duties and
responsibilities will include:
* Lead in the requirements gathering, prioritization, development
and implementation of new Salesforce-based solutions.
* Manage the full solution delivery lifecycle including documenting
features, collaborating with IT developers, supporting testing
efforts, facilitating business testing, and managing deployment
efforts.
* Build and maintain effective relationships with business and IT
leaders to understand current and emerging business needs.
* Understand business process and business requirements of the
customers and translating them to requirements artifacts such as
BRD/Functional spec/Use stories.
* Ability to jump in quickly to understand the requirement and find
out dependencies and/or creating proof of concepts (POC)
* Provide ongoing support activities for existing solutions,
including regular business interaction and facilitating delivery of
enhancements and bug fixes as required.
* Write Technical Specifications for development team
* Lead small teams of SMEs in support of multiple product life
cycles and backlog prioritizations.
* Apply people management skills to coach, mentor and develop
salesforce administrators.
* Focus on active development working groups while overseeing
post-launch maintenance of Salesforce platform.
* Serve as point of contact for technology issue escalation and
communication
* Management and logging of user feedback in Agile, JIRA,
Confluence and/or other appropriate systems
* Experience in documenting requirements on large end to end
initiatives that include multiple technology teams across the
enterprise (Digital, CRM, BPM, Middleware, Backend)
* Effectively partner with a wide range of teams, including
business leaders, delivery teams and external partners, to drive
business success.
* Provide thought-leadership across business and technical project
dimensions solving complex business requirements.
* Evangelize re-usable components that can be enterprise
assets.
* Continuously identify opportunities and executes process
improvements.
Job Requirements
* 6 + years of experience in hands-on experience in designing and
implementation of Salesforce solutions and should have at least 1
Enterprise full life cycle Architect experience of Salesforce
projects
* Salesforce administrator certification preferred. Multiple
certifications preferred.
* Experience with Sales Cloud and Financial Service Cloud
preferred.
* Experience in middleware or iPaaS very helpful.
* Experience in the implementation, administration, maintenance and
enhancements of Salesforce.
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Must be able to work independently, with minimal oversight.
* Strong analytical skills, follow-up capability, and
problem-solving ability
* Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
* Ability to present ideas and solutions in user-friendly
language
* Highly self-motivated and directed
* Keen attention to detail
* Ability to comply with our COVID-19 vaccination policy
Salary: $100K-165K Commensurate with experience and location. Does
not include bonus or long term incentive eligibility (if
applicable).
