Responsibilities
Peraton is hiring three Utility Cloud Support Systems Engineers to join our Cyber Mission business unit in Jessup, MD. As a Systems Engineer on our team, you will support one of the largest enterprise-wide engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community. This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed at a customer location. As a Utility Cloud Support Systems Engineer on our team, you will provide system engineering solutions to meet required capabilities for cloud, Virtual Desktop (VDI), and other current and future Computer Infrastructure. - You will create bills of materials, network designs and diagrams, rack elevations, cable run lists, build books, and other documentation for new and updated installations. - You will also work with network, storage, and server personnel to define new or modified solutions to complex problems; respond to requests for new MUC and VDI systems; design systems to meet capacity and user requirements; and determine required power, space, cooling, and funding to meet these goals.
Qualifications
Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or other related discipline plus at least 10 years of systems engineering experience. A Master's degree or PhD may be substituted for two years of experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 14 years of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable.
  
• Ability to work independently and in groups to complete tasks bounded by constraints.
  
• Experience with VMware virtualization technology.
  
• Ability to break down complex problem space, formulate technical strategies build action plans, and track progress against established baselines to resolve technical challenges and meet customer expectations.
  
• Position requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

    Range for Posting Salary Minimum: $72,500 Salary Mid: $145,000 Salary Maximum: $181,300 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees.
