has an opening for a BI Tools admin to support a large healthcare
program.Job Description
- Drive the installation, maintenance, and administration of the
Business Intelligence reporting tools used by CMS/EADG
- Take responsibility to analyze, support, administer the CMS
analytics enterprise platform built using tools including
Microstrategy, Tableau, Cognos, Infomratica, SAS, ArchGIS, AWS
Quicksight, etc
- Engage with CMS and application teams to to define user groups
needed to support business operations
- Develop standards for performance, enhance processes to
maintain and improve operations, and measure progress for key
metrics
- Drive automation, modernization and overhaul of BI tools,
infrastructure and processes in support of CMS's vision to
consolidate and introduce open-source solutions
- Engage with BI developers, business analysts, and application
teams to understand needs for projects to provide BI infrastructure
and tools needed
- Follow data governance standards and frameworks, deisgn and
develop workflows and templates, support CMS and the BI Archtiect
in the development of analysis and designs
- Continually measure performance and availability of the BI
infrastructure and recommend ways and means to optimize and imrove
existing implementationRelevant ExperienceBS degree and 8 - 12
years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 - 10 years of
prior relevant experience. Experience may be substituted in lieu of
degree.
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience in projects with
emphasis on big data, reporting and analytics
- Minimum of 5 years experience with developing technical BI data
solutions, preferably with the preferred CMS/EADG tools stated
above
- Experience in enterprise data management including design,
configuration, implementation, modeling, and maintenance
- Experience in maintining systems with high redundancy/high
availability, security, troubleshooting/performance tuning,
upgrades, migrations, database programming requirements
- Expertise in BI and ETL/data integration tools
- Experience in agile software development
- Federal government experience preferredAll candidates
supporting the CMS programs must havelived in theUnited
Statesatleastthree(3)out ofthelastfive(5)yearsprior in order to be
considered.Pay Range:Pay Range $97,500.00 - $150,000.00 -
$202,500.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general
guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but
are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education,
experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal
equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement
