Job Title: SECURITY SPECIALISTLocation: Baltimore, MD 21231Duration: 12+ Months with possible extension Provide protection services for Client Executives and Board of Directors with 24/7 availabilityConduct counter-surveillance services for select Client executivesMaintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion regarding all corporate matters, especially executive conversations, and communications (Disclosure Agreement)Provide security/protective services for events held by or attended by Client Executives and Board of Directors, and ensure a smooth transition from each venueConduct events advances, security assessments and investigations on an as needed basis involving Client Executive Committee and Board of Directors.Interface with and maintain a working relationship with federal, state, and local law enforcement professionals, executive protection specialists in other corporations, and vendors providing executive protection servicesPlan and provide protection services for international travel involving Client Executive Committee.Provide residential vulnerability assessment services, including the coordination of security system installations/upgrades, to select executivesProvide controls and risk mitigation recommendations to managementEngage regulators and councils on critical infrastructureAct as a liaison to law enforcement networksACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Provide protection services for Client Executives and Board of Directors with 24/7 availability. Conduct counter-surveillance on selected executives for Corporate Security. Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion regarding all corporate matters, especially executive conversations, and communications (45%) 2. Provide support for Corporate Security functions and activities (Board Meetings. GOC Meetings and Annual Shareholder Meeting, tabletop exercises, Executive Protection, Crisis Management and Business Continuity Planning, etc.) (25%) 3. Conduct daily security advances and assessments of physical locations (20%) 4. Establish and maintain federal, state, county and local law enforcement contacts and relationships (5%) 5. Assist in supporting security for executive floors through employee awareness (5%)SPECIFICATIONS Minimum:Bachelor's degree nice to have10 years of law enforcement or executive protection experience with a medium to large agency or the equivalent combination of law enforcement/private investigative experienceAbility to obtain concealed carry permits for applicable states, as necessary.Excellent communication skills, both written and oralKnowledge of PC/desktop workstation applications: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook24/7 availabilityAbility to travel, both domestically and internationallyAbility to obtain (Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act (LEOSA) qualifications Preferred:Advanced degreeAbility to obtain and maintain a secret or top-secret clearanceCertifications: Certified Executive Protection Professional (EPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), and/or other related certificationsExperience in conducting advances of physical facilitiesExperience in business continuity and crisis managementPrior corporate security, executive protection, and/or dignitary protection experience SCOPEProvide driving and protective services (including personal protection, residential security, travel security and special event security) for senior managementInteract with all levels of employees, including senior executives and corresponding outside partiesMitigate threats to the Company's people, infrastructure, and assets by responding to an array of emerging security issues potentially impacting Client Corporation * Work under minimal supervisionPDN-99091342-3ea0-4ebb-a176-03b78340da0e
