Job Description:
The Senior IT Systems Engineer will be an instrumental part of a
highly technical team in the management and modernization of an
existing IT infrastructure. This is a hands-on position that
requires an experienced individual to install, upgrade, patch, and
manage software in a VMware environment. The systems engineer will
work with and troubleshoot server hardware. Additional duties
include backups, disaster recovery, updates, and other
technology-driven solutions in a fast-paced, multi-site (node)
environment.
Working Procedure:
The following are the expected job duties required for the
Technical Trainer position; however, this job description does not
preclude the performance of other duties by the incumbent.
Education Requirement:A Bachelor's degree in a related technical
discipline, such as Systems Engineering, Computer Science,
Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or an equivalent
amount of education and experience. Relevant IT/Cyber Security
certifications required or be able to attain within 6 months of
hire.
Experience Requirement: Must possess a minimum of 7 years of
relevant experience. Must have a practical hands-on, working
knowledge of the setup and configuration IT infrastructure,
computer networks in conjunction with applicable system engineering
skills. DOD Secret clearance or higher, or the ability to
obtain.
