Job Description:

Title: Electronic Assembler KBR is looking for an Electronics Assembler to support our government customer in Columbia, Maryland. Responsibilities include: Prepare electrical and electronic equipment for assembly and integration into systems. Works from drawings, wire and cable lists to perform inter-system equipment connections. Performs simple or routine wiring of chassis utilizing wire lists and schematics. Install cable assemblies using standard written and generally accepted techniques including the provision for cable service loops and for proper cable routing. Uses hand and power tools as required to perform wire wrap and terminal connection installation. Uses cable testers and other audible testing instruments to verify correctness of terminations Assist other higher-level assemblers and engineering personnel in the performance of their work, consistent with own background and training. Qualifications: Two years direct experience as a electronic assembler Ability to obtain a secret security clearance Must be able to assemble parts per drawing packages or thru direction from higher-level technicians or engineers. Soldering and crimping experience Must be able to use hand and power tools to perform assembly operations. Must be able to fabricate cables and install same using standard techniques.
