Secure Our Nation, Ignite Your FutureManTech is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Systems Engineer to support our DoD PKI management efforts in Hanover, MD. This position provides direct support to senior-level management, contributing to an important mission for our Nation's National Security.Key Responsibilities:

• Apply systems engineering principles to develop capabilities supporting the technical and policy aspects of PKI Management.
• Analyze user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
• Compare requirements of multiple PKIs to determine interoperability risks.
• Write PKI Certification Practice Statements and analyze those documents for compliance with PKI X.509 Certificate Policy requirements.
• Perform PKI compliance audits and security assessments of PKI components.
• Lead design and development activities, guiding users in formulating requirements and advising alternative approaches.
• Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
• Develop technical documentation and system architecture and system design documentation.
• Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
• Interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts.Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • 14 years of experience as a SE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type complexity.
  • Understanding of X.509 and general certificate management processes.
  • Experience working on PKI systems, e.g., writing and interpreting PKI X.509 Certificate Policy requirements.Desired Qualifications:
    • Experience reviewing and developing security assessments and requirements/guidance for security-relevant functions in the creation, management, operations, and certification/approval of hardware cryptographic modules.
    • Experience performing security, vulnerability, and functional assessments and testing of PKI, information assurance, and key management components and capabilities.
    • Experience performing technical and security reviews of documents and PKI components and creating/ preparing white papers or position papers documenting challenges and proposed solutions.Security Clearance Requirements:
      • Currently active TS/SCI with polygraph.Physical Requirements:
        • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
        • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.
        • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
        • Repetitive Motions.
