Under the direction of a supervisor performs duties in the
operating room to assist the surgical and anesthesia teams by
troubleshooting and supporting implant cases, maintaining
instrumentation and supplies, and educating others related to
surgical implant procedures. Inspects and verifies proper function
of implant instruments and refills implant trays with implantable
materials after case-use. Makes recommendations to management on
the purchase of new or replacement implant instrumentation and
implant systems for the operating rooms.
Knowledge of health care environment and team concepts.
Minimum Associates degree required. Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Experience beyond the work experience requirement may be
substituted for the degree on a 2 years of experience for 1 year of
education basis .i.e. 4 years
Requires a minimum of three years of experience with surgical
and/or anesthesia procedures, supply, instrumentation and/or

Required Licensure, Certification:
Certification in Surgical and/or Anesthesia Technology is
